The medical school will be a key element of the biomedical campus in downtown Phoenix. This campus will include the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen), the Arizona Biomedical Collaborative (ABC), additional biomedical research, academic health and clinical uses. The campus is expected to create 14,000 jobs and generate an economic impact of $2.1 billion.
